The Kensington Expert Wireless Trackball comes with a detachable, soft cushioning wrist rest. The symmetrical design of the Expert trackball works equally well for both right-handed and left-handed users. Two great features as seen on the wired Expert are back: the large ball (now in red), which provide great control and accuracy, and the scroll ring around the ball, allowing you to scroll easily using your ring finger. Note: for Apple Mac users, TrackballWorks customization is only available when you use the 2.4GHz USB receiver. The free downloadable TrackballWorks software gives you the ability to assign a wide variety of program functions to each of the 4 buttons, as well as adjusting cursor and scrolling speeds. Dual Wireless TechnologyĬonnect either via Bluetooth 4.0 LE (save a valuable USB port!) or through a 2.4GHz USB nano receiver TrackballWorks Customization Until I publish the review, take a look at the features of the Kensington Expert Wireless Trackball below, or read the review of the Wired Expert model. Something I have to look into now, though, is that connected as USB, I don't think I'm doing Standby now like I was, only Hibernate. I thought that connecting it as USB might fix that, and it did. I had it plugged into the PS/2 port with an adapter, but when I brought the computer out of Standby, the mouse was frozen.

I was able to get the Kensington Expert Mouse PRO, Model #64213, to run in Windows 8, connected as USB. My neighbor has cerebral Palsy and I have a tower for her ,and she has the monitor, and the facility that helps the handicap in Springfield,IL loaned her this mouse to use and now Kensington tells me they no longer have the driver.
